Chinese device brand Oppo has announced the launch of the dual-mode 5G smartphone. The smartphone will be officially unveiled later this year. At the Qualcomm 5G Summit in Barcelona, the announcement was made by Henry Tang, the chief scientist of the organization. The smartphone will have Qualcomm's dual-mode 5G platform, which will support standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) networks simultaneously.
At the conference, Henry Tang highlighted the current state of the 5G and the next generation of products and applications, as well as the new generation of network users. He said the relentless efforts of OPPO and other organizations have paved the way for the rapid use of 5G technology. Users of certain countries and regions have already begun to use the Oppo smartphone. He also hoped that this new dual-mode 5G smartphone will provide a better experience for users worldwide.
